Well, we have finally begun the home stretch for the outside of the Dziowgo's Toybox.....the siding! It was a tough project to start, but with the help of the boys (as well as house support from the girlies) we started out on the right foot. Once we established our guidlines and straight-edge, we were off and running. Cory brought home some galvanized ring-shanked nails for the airnailer. He's getting soft and he would be happy if he never picked up a hammer to drive a nail again! I must admit that it makes things a little smoother and quicker though it decreases my ladder acrobatics that I have perfected over the years. We put up to the middle of the door before the company left. Oh ya, that level is there just for the pictures. Cam and Cory had it out there so they could tell me that they were using it when I asked.

Nice chilly day to do some siding over Easter. It is only fitting since we tinned the roof when it was raining and snowing! Those chalk lines are supposed to be scribbled out. That is the last time I give Cory sidewalk chalk! I'll have to have Amie show him how to use it. You should be able to see this for years to come. It'll be that water tight when we get it sealed or painted.
Plugging away like a true plugger. Couple hours after school does make a difference. I wasn't fast enough to get back on the ladder so Cheryl had to take the picture.
Not too shabby for a school teacher! Boy, I hope I have enough siding. I don't think I have it in me to tear down another barn!
