Well productivity has started to slow during the winter. This is due to the fact that finish work takes time and it isn't as noticeable as the framing work. It is completely weather tight and is holding it's own with the rain and snow. It passed it's structural engineering test over Christmas when we had the family take the tour. I led the guests around upstairs and Cory stayed below to check for excessive sagging and bowing floor joists. Barely even a squeak! Guess it will hold everyone after all. Thank you all for completing the test (unknown to you).

Here are some photos of Candice working as my electrician apprentice. She works pretty cheap compared to others. A 2 liter of Diet Mt. Dew and she'll work for a day! I can handle those wages ;) I didn't even have to rework anything after she left!

I have finished painting the Fireman's pole (and it will be called Fireman's pole not a fireperson's pole) and it is looking nice. Photos to come. I have also fabricated the iron railing for the upstairs stairwell to protect everyone. There is even a bookcase up there for the pedal cars owner's manuals. We stole an idea from a restaurant in Rapid City for making 'bucket lights' that look great upstairs. A true Plugger can make anything if they can only see it!

Stay tuned for more photos of the finish work.
