Sorry about the brevity of this post. Webmaster is super busy with some changes.

We had to suck it up and tin Nebraska style. Experienced snow, sleet and ice on our way to completing 90% of the tin on the roof. It wasn't the nicest of days as you can see. It was great to have all of the kids home and helping in various ways. The girlies even got to chip ice off of the second floor! How about that? Leaving town for the weekend so we DON"T have to work on the barn! Yippeeee!!

We'll post some more photos when we get the final roof piece on and make the barn weather tight.

Well after getting on the webmaster, we are finally able to have a new post. Lots has happened since the last update. We lost our electrician as he headed back East. Guess we'll have to draw up some blueprints and go from there ;) Cam, Cheryl and I have been plugging away at the small things. We have all but two pieces of plywood up (they'll require a loader or Cory's climbing gear) and all the roof boards up. A couple weekend ago, the gang came home (SD, Columbus, and Omaha) and we finished up the roof boards on the East side (that is by the barn Dad). We wanted to get the tin done but the forecast said otherwise. We pretty much got rained out on Sunday. Cam and Cory were working up there with the electric drills in plastic bags. Plugger rain gear for tools! We did manage to get one run on the West side though. This weekend, ND, SD, and Columbus will be represented on the barn. If the weather holds out, we should be finished ie weather-tight on Saturday! Then all that is left is the Barn Raising Party!! The photo with me is acting like the foreman.....or was I making reservations at the L Bar B for dinner :)
